Airkenya is delighted to announce the successful launch of our daily scheduled flights between Wilson Airport, Nairobi, and Arusha Airport, a service that has been operating seamlessly since 1st January 2026.
As part of this new route update, our scheduled flights will now operate to Arusha, while Kilimanjaro will continue to be served via charter flights. Arusha remains one of Tanzania’s premier tourism hubs and a key gateway for travelers exploring renowned safari destinations across both Kenya and Tanzania.
Upon arrival in Arusha, passengers can easily connect with our subsidiary partner, Regional Air, for onward travel to Tanzania’s iconic national parks, including the Serengeti and Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park is known for its rich biodiversity, from rare tree climbing lions and large elephant herds to its alkaline lake, which seasonally attracts thousands of flamingos. Serengeti National Park stands as one of the world’s most celebrated wildlife destinations, famed for the Great Migration, an aweinspiring annual movement of over 1.5 million wildebeest accompanied by vast herds of zebras.
Together, these destinations offer travelers a diverse and unforgettable Tanzanian safari experience, now made even more accessible through AirKenya’s enhanced regional connectivity.
